Preferred sources

  • Official agencies such as FDA, FTC, CPSC, EPA, OSHA, USPS, and state regulators where relevant.
  • IFRA standards, supplier IFRA certificates, SDS documents, product labels, and technical datasheets.
  • Peer-reviewed research and recognized professional safety references for scientific background.

What we avoid

We do not use social posts, anecdotal testimonials, or supplier marketing as proof that an oil is safe, effective, or appropriate for health use.

Unsourced sensitive topics

Sensitive pages without adequate sources and reviewer metadata are removed from the index, excluded from search/sitemap/RSS, or returned as 410 Gone.
