Essence Authority publishes practical, task-specific guides and worksheets for essential-oil products, room scenting, blends, candles, cleaning, packing, and client documentation. This page describes how information is selected, checked, and corrected, and what the site does and does not claim.

What we avoid

The site does not use testimonials, anonymous social posts, copied wellness charts, or supplier marketing as proof of medical benefit or safety.

Page-specific source selection

Sources are chosen per page, not copied from a shared template. Each article's question determines which sources are relevant: a storage question uses product, SDS, supplier, and packaging material; a wastewater question uses environmental agencies, local authorities, and facility guidance; a device question uses the manufacturer's manual and coverage information. A source must support the specific page it appears on.

Source-topic matching

Before a source is cited, the site checks that the source's title, issuer, and content match the question the page answers. A candle-safety page is not used as support for storage, an indoor-air page is not used to answer solubility, and advertising guidance is not presented as laboratory methodology. Sources that fail this check are removed from the page.

Similarity review

Substantive article bodies are compared with each other so that no two pages rely on the same generic template. Shared navigation, footer, and boundary notices are sitewide components; the article's own answer, explanation, workflow, examples, and sources must be specific to that page.

Preservation of historical URLs

When a legacy page is improved, it is rewritten at the same web address. The site does not delete historical reader pages, return them as errors, hide them from search, or redirect them to the homepage or to this policy. The original version is retained privately for reference.

Bing query review

Search-query data is reviewed before a page is rewritten so that the language searchers actually use is preserved where accurate. A page's slug and useful terminology are kept; only unsupported claims are replaced.

Revision metadata

Each substantially revised page shows the original publication date, the last substantial-review date, the date sources were checked, and a brief revision summary. Review dates are updated only when the page was actually reviewed.

Handling conflicting sources

When sources disagree, the page records the conflict rather than choosing a winner silently: each source is named with what it supports, what it does not establish, and a recheck trigger. Product-specific documents the reader must obtain are listed separately from sources the site actually reviewed.

Automated checks identify problems; they do not by themselves approve a page. Each page still receives editorial review before substantial revisions are published.

Pest-control claims

The site does not provide pest-treatment or pesticide-use instructions and publishes no homemade pesticide recipes. It may evaluate pest-control claims, registered-product labels, and evidence boundaries: what a registered label permits, what a scent observation does not prove, and when a licensed pest-control professional is the right route.
